How to Install Applications?

SiteGround is compatible with hundreds of applications. With us you can easily use many open-source Content Management Systems (CMS), Galleries, Forums, Wikis, Blogs, Portal, e-learning management systems (LMS), etc. You can either choose to use our autoinstaller Softaculous or request a free installation by our support team.

1. Autoinstall with Softaculous?

Softaculous Autoinstaller is located in the Software/Services section of your cPanel.

2. Request installation from support team

The SiteGround Technical Support Team would gladly assist you with the installation of any of the script/application which are compatible with your hosting account. To request script/application installation, you need to be logged into your Customer Area first. Then, click on the Support tab and navigate to the Application Installation option in the Advanced Technical Services category.

On the next page, you will be asked to choose the script/application you want to have installed from an extensive list.

If your desired application is not among the most popular scripts listed here with their logos, you can still request its installation by clicking on the Other icon.

SiteGround offers free install for more than 300 applications and if you start typing the name of your preferred one we will auto-suggest it if it is included in our free applications list:

You can also request installation of an application not in the list of the auto-suggested options but this will be a subject of exclusive professional support fee.
